Wings of Light Publishing Introduction

What is Wings of Light Publishing?

Wings of Light Publishing is a tiny business owned, directed, and operated by Tyrean Martinson with the current intent of publishing Tyrean Martinson's works.

Why create a business for that?

Two reasons:
1. Bookstores and readers seem to have greater respect for Indie authors who take the time to create a business model for their publishing.

2. Someday, with a great deal of research and hard work ahead, I hope to publish other writers. Specifically, I hope to publish young fantasy and scifi writers who are struggling to find a place for their work, and who may not feel read to go Indie. For more information on that, please see my background page. (Please note that the "someday" will probably be years from now)

Isn't #2 crazy ambitious?

Yes, and that's why it's just a hope and a dream at this point.

Why not now?

I need to put foundations under that dream with hard work and research. Plus, I'm juggling a full life and a full plate of writing.

What's the purpose of this blog?

To give insight into Indie publishing, to showcase places for writers to send short stories and poetry, to encourage writers, and yes, to shamelessly promote some of my own work. (Sorry, but that is a part of it)
